Kauffmann 56 T BS
Kauffmann describes the Model T as the mothership. The one that started it all. A magical design that is just as relevant today as it was then.
All Estates have that familiar, well-rehearsed feel. This feeling is most noticeable on the neck of a guitar. The edges of the fretboard are rolled and the finish of the neck is sanded down for a comfortable playing feel. The fretboard has a 9.5" radius and 6105 fret wire. The 50's models come with a maple fretboard and the 60's models with a rosewood fretboard.
The aged nitro finish gives the guitars their distinctive look. Vintage correct colors and occasional original creations are used. Kauffmann always pays attention to a realistic and balanced aging of the guitars. Because the details make the difference.
Kauffmann's own single coils are on board. The sound is best described as "creamy & bluesy" without losing transparency. CTS pots, vintage wire and a treblebleed are also installed.
